● Copper Semi-Tubular Rivets is made of the copper material. It can be used in many applications. They are commonly used in brake lining, clutch button, clutch facing, hardware tools, and other industries. Setting the rivet is achieved by passing the rivet through the material to be fixed and then either deforming the end of the shank or fitting a non return washer such as a "starlock". Deformation can be achieved crudely by hammering or in a more controlled fashion either by using a press or spin riveting. The load is stronger than that of half-hollow rivet, which is mainly used for riveting occasions.
● We support customized and can also manufacture non-standard fasteners according to your drawings.

When using copper semi-tubular rivets in different applications, there may be some weight and size limitations to consider. The diameter and length of the rivets determine their weight and size, and this can impact the suitability of the rivets for certain applications.
Copper semi-tubular rivets are commonly used in a range of industries, including the automotive, electronics, and aerospace industries. They are often used in applications where strength and durability are critical, and where exposure to harsh environments might otherwise compromise the integrity of the fastening. The type of application will determine the weight and size requirements of the copper semi-tubular rivets.
For lightweight applications, small-diameter and short-length copper semi-tubular rivets may be sufficient. On the other hand, heavy applications may require larger diameter and longer length rivets to provide the necessary strength and durability.
The weight of an application can be a concern when using copper semi-tubular rivets. If the parts being joined are themselves heavy, then the weight of the rivets can add to the overall weight of the assembly. Furthermore, applications that will be carried or moved around regularly may require lighter copper semi-tubular rivets to prevent excess weight from becoming a safety concern.
In addition to weight concerns, the thickness of the materials being joined also plays a role in the size of the rivets needed. If the material is thin, shorter copper semi-tubular rivets can be used, whereas thicker materials will require longer rivets. It is important to consider the thickness of the materials being joined when selecting the correct rivets for an application.
When it comes to selecting the appropriate size and length of the rivet, designers have to balance a number of factors, including the size and weight of the application, the adjustability and reusability of the fastener, and the required strength. Designers will typically refer to reference tables and charts that indicate preferred dimensions for a particular application or material thickness.
It is also important to note that size and weight are not the only considerations in selecting copper semi-tubular rivets. Material type can also be a factor. In a highly corrosive environment.
Copper semi-tubular rivets are known for their resistance to corrosion and durability in various environments. However, like any fastener, maintenance may be required to ensure their longevity and continued viability for use.
One of the primary maintenance tasks for copper semi-tubular rivets is to periodically check their tightness. Over time, particularly in applications that involve vibration or cyclic loads, the rivets may loosen, allowing the joint to move or separate. Loose joints can be a safety risk and may lead to equipment or product failure. Therefore, it is important to inspect rivets regularly, tightening or replacing them if necessary.
Another maintenance task may involve cleaning the rivets and surrounding area as a preventative measure. Dirt and grime can accumulate around the rivets, which can lead to corrosion and degradation. Regular cleaning using mild detergents or solvents and soft brushes or cloths can help prevent build-up and maintain their structural integrity.
The frequency at which maintenance or replacement is required will vary based on the application. Factors such as the environment, exposure to stress or vibration, and the type of material the copper semi-tubular rivets are being used with, will all play a role in the need for maintenance. For example, marine applications will require more frequent maintenance than agricultural applications due to the corrosive nature of saltwater environments.
In terms of replacement, copper semi-tubular rivets may not require replacement as often as other types of fasteners due to their durability. However, over time, there may be wear and tear on the rivets, which can result in decreased strength or the loosening of the joint. The replacement schedule will depend on the application and should be determined by regular inspections and routine maintenance.
